The primary drivers for the client's website redesign were a more modern and accessible appearance and user interface, as well as improved and clearer presentation of their offerings and products. Additionally, they sought ease and flexibility in content management.

In the redesign, the outdated WordPress site was replaced by a headless architecture solution. The content hierarchy and sitemap were renewed, introducing a new navigation approach through product application areas that better addressed customer segments, in addition to the product families. Attention was paid to ensuring that different content types were easy to update, browse, and cross-link. A key focus was also on Hidex's scientific methods handbook, which was previously isolated on a separate domain without a clear connection to the main site. In the new website, the content was integrated into the pages in an e-book-like format with links to related products.
The design was based on Hidex's brand promise of precision, reflected in UI elements as narrow, precise lines and rounded, directional arrow shapes. Additionally, the curvature from the logo was incorporated into UI elements, such as the bottom edges of web pages.
The visual style was intended to remain dark, in line with the brand, but less somber than before. Gradients created from brand colors added a fresh and modern touch to the design.
To facilitate handling of leads, the website integrated the client’s NetSuite ERP system, enabling contact information from inquiry forms to be transferred seamlessly.
