The Finnish furniture company Hakola fights against globalization and large international companies. International competitors, IKEA at the forefront, are conquering Finns' homes with cheap prices. For 60 years, Hakola has made its design products by hand in Finland, with the strength of the Jurva community. The furniture is created together by seamstresses, upholsterers, carpenters and other local professionals. The cooperation of 11 people is required to make one sofa.

We created the visually impressive concept "Domestic handicraft is in all of our hands" to celebrate the 60-year anniversary and to communicate the greater importance of handicraft and working together. With our multi-channel campaign, we helped consumers to understand how keeping domestic handicraft in Finland is in the hands of all of us.
We showed how Hakola products are created by Finnish hands. Hakola's craft professionals worked in the advertisement as hand models. Together with Koski Syväri (now Ääri), we photographed the hands of each creator, from which the visual world created presented the silhouettes of Hakola's popular products as formed by the hands of their manufacturers.
Hakola's turnover in 2022 was 6.4 million euros.
During the campaign, Hakola's sales exceeded one million euros.
