We found a mutual understanding with the bank’s team right away. Our cooperation projects have included designing the marketing of children’s event in various channels, local photo shoots and a video series that centered on the hybrid cars and hockey partnership with HC TPS. The video series featured a well-known radio presenter driving famous guests to the hockey games in Turku.

The winter party of small hippos
This free family event gathered together families from the Turku region to have fun, iceskate and enjoy a circus show. OP Turun Seutu needed a catching name and marketing for the event, so that’s what we designed. The result was called Pikku Hippojen Talvihipat (The winter party of small hippos – hippos are the bank’s mascots).
Local photos are important to a local bank. It is a way of telling that they are close and genuinely present to their customers. You can spot familiar places and happy faces in these local photos.
OP Turun Seutu has a long history with the local icehockey team called HC TPS. The bank wanted to tell about this cooperation together with hybrid cars offered by their OP Kulku services.
At first, it seemed challenging to combine these two. Then we came up with an idea of a video series with a known radio presenter Harri Moisio driving famous people to the games and talking with them about cars, hockey and life. The guests included a hockey player, a singer, a writer, a stand up comedian, fitness blogger etc.
OP is a huge and well-led brand that has an active local presence. We were lucky to be able to leave our mark in this traditional Finnish brand in the local level.
Banking world is anything but boring. We have executed several interesting marketing projects with a good team to this nice client.
