Ilmarinen provides insurances to over 675,000 employees and paying pensions to almost 500,000 people. In total, the company manages the pension cover of over 1.1 million Finns. In addition, it offers vocational rehabilitation services, support for employee wellbeing, and training towards better working life. Ilmarinen’s vision is to be the most attractive earnings-related pension partner for Finnish companies.
Our partnership started in the fall of 2016. With Ilmarinen and another pension insurance company Etera merging in the beginning of 2018, we brought their separate web services together. Currently, we help Ilmarinen to improve the digital user experience and develop their digital marketing. For example, we created instruments such as ”Hymykartoitin” (“Tools for Smile”), suitable to all working environments, and campaigns like ”Suomen iloisin yrittäjä” (“Finland’s Happiest Entrepreneur”), with a popular voting functionality enabling users cheer their favourite entrepreneurs.
We are their design partner in ilmarinen.fi web service development, and also provide daily content management resources. Thus, we are uniquely positioned and able to offer practical solutions that suit their needs and improve their online presence. The main goals are the ease of transactions, ease of finding relevant content, and making the experience as simple and effortless as possible.

LIVING STYLE GUIDE
We designed and produced a Style Guide that is continuously updated. The aim was to ensure that all the digital content is aligned with the rest of the materials and the company’s brand.
Content production for the Finland’s Happiest Entrepreneur campaign site as well as social media platforms and online advertising.
Our team maintains the ilmarinen.fi site, producing content quickly and smoothly based on the customer’s needs and requests.
UI/UX & CONCEPT DESIGN
Our designers ensure that the online user experience supports and matches brand promises in the best possible way. For example, a completely revamped front page makes it easier for customers to find services relevant to them.
